Jime con J is the personal brand of professional photographer Jimena Genaro. It was conceived as an identity capable of coexisting with any photograph, adapting to any aesthetic style, and performing with equal strength across both physical media and digital environments. The brand needed to be versatile, recognizable, and flexible enough to sit on top of an image and still stand out without stealing the spotlight.
To achieve this, the logo was designed based on the most commonly used proportions in printed photography, ensuring natural integration across different formats and compositions. Its strong, clean, non-gestural strokes guarantee excellent legibility even over complex images, contrasting effectively with the organic forms typically found in photography. The deliberate decision to eliminate color and restrict its use exclusively to black or white reinforces its functional character, enabling optimal contrast on any background and ensuring visual consistency wherever the brand appears.
Given that the brand needed to adapt to multiple formats and scales, a simplified version of the logo was developed for situations where it had to be displayed at smaller sizes, preventing it from interfering with or competing against the background image.
This variation ensures legibility and presence even in compact applications, preserving the integrity of the brand while allowing the accompanying photograph to remain the true protagonist.
A fully self-managed website with integrated e-commerce was developed on WordPress, designed to adapt seamlessly to everyday needs. The platform centralizes content, services, and sales within a single environment, delivering a clear user experience aligned with the brand’s identity.
In addition, a custom-built tool was created to quickly and easily apply the logo and frame to photographs, streamlining the workflow and enabling fast publication across different social media platforms in just seconds. A practical solution designed to save time while ensuring visual consistency at every brand touchpoint.
